All you have to do is share this insight - what's the one thing you learned this year that you're carrying into 2024 and why is it so important?

Each day, until the 24th December I will share something small with you. The 'something small' will be related to Employee Experience. The 'something small' might be something to think about, something you might use with your team, on yourself or you might share the idea with someone else you know. One small idea will be shared every day with one collective purpose; to make the experience of work better.

Ho Ho Ho

I have learned that when people believe in you, believe them. And when you’re in a spot where you genuinely believe in you, that feeling in the core of your soul, believe in that the most, then take the leap and follow it. It’s less about the fear of what we’re not capable of than it is the fear of actually accomplishing what we are capable of, so trusting and knowing that it’s OK to stretch into the maximum of what we’re capable of is worth it, and it’s the greatest way of giving back to the world what only you’re capable of. The world needs it, so trust when the signs are calling you to it.

Ohhhh fun! One thing I’ve learned this year is that the things that make us similar are just as powerful, if not moreso, than those that make us different. I find this so important because we all tend to focus on the differences, and I believe a shift towards thinking and embracing what is similar about people can has such a major impact on bringing humans together : )

It has taken me, what feels like a lifetime, to give myself permission to think this way though as 2023 draws to an end I can now finally accept that it is ok to fail as it means that I tried. Acceptance that failing is part of the developmental process and it's how we learn. Though boy is it tough to admit to yourself you have failed and for others to witness.
