However, amidst the glitz and glamour, an essential question lingers: Who gives a f*ck about being featured, and why should we bother sharing our stories?

Let's start by addressing the rebellious sentiment encapsulated in the title. It's not a callous dismissal of recognition or acknowledgment.

Instead, it challenges the notion that our worth is solely determined by external validation. Being featured may be exhilarating, but it's the journey, the stories, and the connections you make that make it truly meaningful.

The Allure of Recognition

There's an undeniable thrill in being featured. Whether it's a shoutout on social media, a feature in a magazine, or an acknowledgment at an event, the recognition offers a sense of validation and accomplishment. It's a testament to hard work, talent, and dedication paying off. It feels as if you are being heard!

However, the danger lies in making this recognition the primary goal. When the pursuit of being featured overshadows the genuine passion and authenticity behind our stories, we risk losing sight of what truly matters. Thus there is a thin line in exploring when to be featured and what do you gain from reading features of others!

When we do it all, and share our or others' stories, that's when it becomes a powerful tool. When we focus on being true to ourselves rather than chasing external validation, our stories resonate on a deeper level. It shares the learnings, the insights, the experiences and the gems no degree, education or course can ever teach.
