Day 21 of running 55 miles in October to save Jo’s marbles (for Alzheimer's Research UK) Progress: 44/55 miles.

And she’s back! On the final week! Whilst Jo travelled 10,321 miles last week, they were air miles. There was very little resolute running other than a short burst of activity, running through Heathrow airport, when Jo got too comfortable in the Qantas lounge and forgot she’d actually got to catch a flight. Until she heard the final call.
Having arrived safely home in Aus, Jo logged 3.5 miles before starting work this morning and another 1.5 miles after.
Jo and Iain live by the beach in Australia. It’s safe to say that this morning’s determined walking was very different. No speeding cars or curious sheep at 6am. Just a wide variety of human life including:
10 Men running with sons
9 Seniors with sticks
8 Seniors with poles
7 Couples with pushchairs
6 Ladies with dogs
5 Girls with all the gear and no idea, (looking to all the world as though they’re off for a run but in reality strolling along whilst scrolling their phones).
4 People on bikes
3 People on scooters
2 determined walkers (Jo and Iain)
And a bush turkey on the foreshore!
A million thank you's to those people who’ve already donated. You’re all amazing!
If you’d like to keep me motivated, here’s the link to donate. We’re at £420. I'd love to get to £500.00.
