Day 21 - the momentum is growing!

Day 21 - the momentum is growing!

We added nearly 20 registrations since yesterday, locked in more speakers, and have dropped the press releases to a few industry publications, so now thing should get rolling. We need to get about 100 registrants a day to hit our goal and that doesn't seem possible to me, but we shall see!

My two big requests remain: 1) are there any companies that would want to sponsor sending surprise and delight moments to participants during the event? Now, I understand that this is the big catch-22... With 80 people registered and a target of 2,000, who would sponsor something no knowing if their message will actually get to 2,000 people? Alternately, without sponsors and supporters to help share our message, how will we grow our audience? Yes, the age-old question of sponsorship value! Sure, you could send a bouquet of freshly baked cookies to a client or prospect, but if you send it through The Age of Conversation Summit, you will get a video of the recipient's surprised face AND the notoriety (and fanfare and shares) of how cool it was that you were the one who made that happen! So that's what your $100-500 could do for you!

And 2) would anyone want to host an in-person gathering of 10 or fewer people on September 10th? Any city, doesn't matter. I'd love to see 5 venues or hotel welcome a handful of participants for coffee and conversation to carry on the torch of the Age of Conversation!

There's also conversation amongst our marketing team about daily email updates to our list - is it too much? is it just right? It's basically 15 emails between now and the event... would people unsubscribe? Not if the content was AWESOME. So that's what we need to do. Create AWESOME content. I know what's on my To Do list for tomorrow!!
