This 15-day Nomad sculpt challenge will surely help Digital Sculpt Beginners to learn…Nomad sculpts basics..

Welcome to day#2 of the Nomad Sculpt 15-day challenge!

Using the Nomad Sculpt software on your iPad, we’ll make a martini glass in this tutorial.

Let’s get going!

Setting the Scene in Step One

Create a new scene in Nomad Sculpt by opening the app on your iPad. To achieve this, select “New Scene” from the main menu by tapping on it. You’ll be brought to the workspace once you’ve finished creating the scene.

Making the Glass Base Shape in Step 2

Start with the lathe, make the required minor changes to the Shape, and change the shade to PBR We’ll utilize the “Cylinder” primitive to make the martini glass’s basic form.

Tap the “Add Primitive” option in the menu and choose “Cylinder” to add a cylinder to the scene. Drag the sliders in the menu to change the cylinder’s size and location.

Making the Cylinder Into a Martini Glass in Step 3 Shape the cylinder into the basic shape of a martini glass using the “Transform” tool. Tap the “Transform” button in the menu after selecting the cylinder.

To make the basic glass shape, stretch and mould the cylinder using the handles. To smooth off any rough edges or areas, you can also use the “Brush” tool.

Adding the Stem in Step 4 We’ll once more make use of the “Cylinder” primitive to add a stem to the martini glass. With the “Transform” tool, add a cylinder to the glass’s base and shape it into a stem.

Adding the Base in Step 5 We’ll once more make use of the “Cylinder” primitive to give the martini glass a base. The “Transform” tool can be used to add a cylinder to the stem’s base and mold it into a base.

Making the Glass Texture in Step Six We’ll employ the “Brush” tool to give the martini glass a glassy look. Select a brush that can be used to create a glass texture by tapping on the “Brush” button in the menu and choosing the “Smooth” brush, for example.

Apply a smooth, reflecting texture to the glass’ surface with the brush. To achieve the intended look, you can combine strokes and pinching.

Making the Material, Step 7 We’ll make advantage of the “Substance” tool to produce a realistic material for your martini glass. Select the “Glass” material by tapping the “Material” option on the menu. To achieve the desired effect, change the settings.

Step 8: Adding Lasting Information Now that the martini glass is finished, you may finish adding finishing touches to your sculpture. To polish the glass’ surface and add any extra features you like, like a rim or decorations, use the “Brush” tool.

Exporting Your Sculpture in Step 9 You can export your sculpture in several different formats after you’re satisfied with it. To access the export options, tap the “Export” button in the menu. Then, select the format that best suits your requirements.

Congratulations, you’ve just finished day two of the Nomad Sculpt 15-day challenge! Continue honing your skills and experimenting with various brushes and tools to produce sculptures that are ever more realistic and intricate.
