Day 2 dive: Building User API
Today has been a hectic day trying to find the best movie, music and book APIs actually to use in the project. Trying to learn how they work through the documentation was pretty tiresome. But alas I have working functions that scrape that data and get me what I need nice and smooth.
Today's plan (or was it yesterday ? ??) was to completely finish the whole User API and User Backend. I was almost going an entire day of developing with little sleep. Which seemed weird but am okay.
Anyway, I have managed to finish only the CRUD operations of the user API and tomorrow (or is it today?), I'll add the Flask login, google, LinkedIn and Twitter auth for sign-in. In the end, I'll now combine Recommendations with the user part and we can say that the first API is done.
For those who want to know, I chose TMDB as the movie API, Spotify as the music API, and GoogleBooks as the book API. And am off to bed ??
