Day 19: Understanding AI ....
6 days of ideas and the occasional brilliant surprise. Today - knowing your AI from your. AI

Day 19: Understanding AI ....

A massive CX hero of mine made mention of this book on a recent call. My copy is wrapped up under the Christmas tree at home and I would like to see one sent directly to one of you.

It's all about AI (from someone who knows)

This is what one reader said about it: "This isn’t just a book; it’s a survival kit for the 21st century."

I think it's time we understand a bit more about AI, rather than just take the word of people who have not done the research.

Comment below with your prediction of the good AI will bring to us in years to come and I will pull one of the answers out of a hat.

Each day, until the 24th December I will share something small with you. The 'something small' will be related to Employee Experience. The 'something small' might be something to think about, something you might use with your team, on yourself or you might share the idea with someone else you know. One small idea will be shared every day with one collective purpose; to make the experience of work better.

Ho Ho Ho

Great recommendation Sandra Thompson, thanks! I loved his PoV in his interview with Diary of a CEO when he mentioned that AI needs a "containment" plan. https://youtu.be/CTxnLsYHWuI?si=yqSR8i61uM8Ofv4T

As an architect, the rising popularity of AI has been worrisome as it has opened the door for apparently wondrous design ideas which are seductive but lacking substance (like the crust of a baked meringue). Nonetheless, I feel that the more AI is stress-tested it will open doors for the design and building industries to invent wonderful ways to house the homeless, solve health crises, and help communities remember the value of friendship and good neighbours!
