Day 14: Creating Additional "Takes" for Sales Week

You know the Silicon Valley trope where the team gathers in a conference room, the zany CEO stands by the whiteboard, and a ball is tossed from person to person - when it lands in someone's hands they blurt out an idea for the campaign - some ridiculous, some ingenious.

This is what we want to do with our sales week marketing. Why?

  1. To ensure you don't stop promoting because you feel like the girl who cried "buy my thing" (redundant, cringe and uninspired, if you're not jazzed they won't be and the conversions will fall flat.)
  2. So we can speak to alternative pain points or concerns that may hold more credence for your audience than you realize.

Ideas for Additional Angles:

  • Explain how the offer is easy to implement and understand
  • Break down the time it'll take in detail - Step 1 /?Module 1 = 3 hours to watch and implement
  • Write as if they don't yet know their problem: "What makes visitors leave your Instagram"
  • Write as if they already know their problem: "How to optimize your Instagram bio"
  • Pull a Geico, what's the ROI on their time & money investment? "15 minutes could save you 15% or more"
  • Go inspirational: "The time will pass anyways", "Nothing changes if nothing changes"
  • Share your SWOT, without naming names explain why your offer or approach is the best fit for their unique needs

Where to Find Inspiration:

  • That one DM about a really small piece of your offer? Speak to it publicly
  • Ask yourself, “What if I didn’t know the first thing about [OFFER TOPIC]? What would I be most concerned with?”
  • Look at the most successful of your ICA group- if you had 60 seconds with them to explain your offer what would you say?
  • The most common objection you've heard... How would you overcome it with three different points? Use them all in your messaging.

TODAY'S MISSION:

Use 3-5 of these new takes and insert them into your upcoming Stories. Let them inspire additional content pieces such as Reels, IGTV’s, and IG Lives. Go big here, what you may think might be off the beaten path, might be the topic that actually gets someone off the fence.
