Day #104 Grayleap Reading Challenge
ALMANACK OF NAVAL RAVIKANT | A GUIDE TO WEALTH AND HAPPINESS (Author, Eric Jorgenson)
(Review By: Daizy Patel )
FIND WORK THAT FEELS LIKE PLAY
The author invites us to be real and identify what we can do better than anyone else.?This will help us escape the "competitive trap." When you are uniquely yourself, nobody can compete with you since your passion will lead you to?do it in the best possible way.
Naval says:
"Be genuine if you love what you're doing, and then discover out how to connect that to what people in society genuinely want. Put your name on it and use some leverage. You take the risks, but you also reap the benefits, feel invested in your work, and can just crank it up."
Time to take up the Authenticity challenge?

LINCHPIN: ARE YOU INDISPENSABLE? (Author, Seth Godin)
(Review By: Esha Gupta )
Godin presents an interesting hierarchy of value:?
lift -> hunt -> grow -> produce -> sell -> connect -> create/invent
With every step on the ladder, the number of people willing to do the extra thinking gets small. Only some people want to produce. Very few want to sell. Finally, only a handful reach the top level of Creation/Invention.
As you move up the value ladder, your life gets simpler, your income increases, and fewer individuals compete with you.
Where do you find yourself in the value chain?
