"No duty is more pressing than gratitude." San Ambrosio.
Everything we give to another person wholeheartedly comes back to us multiplied by a hundred. Therefore, being grateful and saying thank you to someone else for anything you receive from her, is not only compelling, it is vital to improve our lives!
"Gratitude paints small smiling faces in everything it touches."
Almost all of us are in contact with many people throughout the day, whether by phone, by email or in person, at work, in stores, restaurants, elevators, buses or trains and, in many cases, the people with whom we are in contact, they deserve our gratitude, because we are receiving something from them.
Gratitude changes the pains of memory in a tranquil joy. Dietrich Bonhoeffer
Think of the people you associate with on a typical day who provide you with some type of service, such as those who work in stores or restaurants, bus drivers or taxi drivers, people dedicated to customer service, cleaning staff or your colleagues of work.
The people who work in the service area are surrendering to serve you, and you are receiving their service.
If you do not say thank you for your service, you are not being grateful, and you will be preventing good things from coming into your life. Think of the maintenance staff who are in charge of the good operation of the transport network, and of the maintenance personnel of services such as electricity, gas, water and the road network.
Think of the people who clean our world, who clean streets, public toilets, trains, buses, planes, hospitals, restaurants, supermarkets and office buildings.
You can not personally thank them all, but you can feel grateful the next time you sit in your impeccable office or walk down a clean sidewalk or on a polished floor.
When you are in a cafe or restaurant, bless all the people who are there saying thank you.
When they clean the table, give you the letter, take note, pour water, serve the food you have ordered, pick up the table, give you the bill or return the change, remember to say thank you all times. If you are in the box of a store or supermarket, bless the person who is serving you or who is putting the purchase in the bags and say thank you.
At all times I thanked God for all the blessings received, allow this blessing to reach all the people around me !!
Thank you God for your lives.
Feel appreciation for all those people who help you in your work, administrative staff, receptionists, cafeteria managers, cleaning staff, customer service staff or any of your colleagues.
Bless them daily by saying thank you, praising and admiring their work!
All of them are offering you a service and they deserve your constant gratitude. Dependents and clerks, waiters and waitresses, all work hard to serve people. They have chosen a work of attention to the public, and serving the public means relating to all kinds of people who are in different moods, including ungrateful ones.
The next time someone serves you, remember that the person who is serving you is a daughter or a son much appreciated by his parents, an irreplaceable brother or sister for his brothers or sisters, a mother or a father of a family with children , and a partner or friend very dear to someone, and deserves your kindness and your patience.
Sometimes you may meet someone who is dedicated to serving the public and who behaves rudely or who does not give you the attention you think you deserve. Being grateful in these situations is an even greater challenge, because your gratitude can not depend on the behavior of another person. Choose to be grateful anyway!
Choose to bless every day in your life no matter what happens!
"May the work of your hands be a sign of gratitude and reverence to the human condition." Mahatma Gandhi
Perhaps it helps to keep in mind that you do not know what situation that person is going through at the moment you trip over her. You may not be well, you may be suffering the loss of a loved one, experiencing the end of your marriage, or being desperate and going through a critical time in your life.
Your gratitude and kindness can be the most magical thing that happens to that person that day. Let's be a blessing channel for a lot !! Let our testimony speak more than a thousand words.
"Be kind, for all the people you meet are fighting a tough battle." Philo De Alexandria
If you thank someone on the phone for their help, do not limit yourself to saying thank you; On the contrary, I gave the reason why you are grateful.
For example, ?Thanks for your help?, ?Thank you for taking so much trouble for me?, ?Thank you for the dedication of your time?, ?Thank you for solving the situation, I am very grateful?. You will hallucinate with the response of the other person when you do this so simple, because he will feel your sincerity.
When you thank someone in person, look him in the face. If you do not look it in the eyes, neither will you feel your gratitude nor will your blessings come to you. You will have missed an opportunity to bless, help that person and change your own life if you say thanks to the air, or say thanks looking at the ground, or say thank you when you are talking on the phone, because you will not be truly sincere when you do .
