DAY 10
Chiamaka Abuka (ACA)
Investment Banking Professional | LEAD Academy | SME Consulting
Today, it’s time to emphasize the importance of maintaining and nurturing connections with the people who have been a part of our lives. Life can get busy, and sometimes we lose touch with friends, family members, or acquaintances. This task encourages us to rekindle old relationships and strengthen the bonds that matter.
The primary objective of this task is to reach out to someone you haven't spoken to in a while. By doing so, you can re-establish connections with people who may have drifted out of your life for various reasons and strengthen existing relationships by demonstrating your care and interest in their lives.
This “someone” could be childhood friend, a distant relative, an old colleague, or anyone you genuinely want to catch up with. Decide how you want to reach out. It could be via phone call, text message, email, social media message, or even a handwritten letter, depending on your comfort level and the nature of the relationship. Be sure to express genuine interest in their well-being. Ask about their life, their experiences since you last connected, and what they've been up to. Keep an open mind and avoid passing judgments. People change, and it's essential to accept them as they are now. If the conversation goes well and both parties are open to it, consider planning a future get-together or ongoing communication to maintain the rekindled relationship.

Who are you calling today?
Colossians 3:12-14 (NIV): "Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity."
Romans 12:10 (NIV): "Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves."
