DAY 1-THE BEGINNING.

SCRIPTURE: Genesis 1:1

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."

PRINCIPLE: Everything begins with God.

Before time, space, or life, God existed. This truth establishes the most fundamental aspect of the kingdom: God is the source of all things. He is not only Creator but also the initiator of every purpose and plan. In the kingdom of God, nothing can truly begin without His involvement.

DEVOTION

Genesis 1:1 introduces us to the very essence of God’s sovereignty. The idea that God created the heavens and the earth speaks not just to His creative ability, but to His authority over all things. In the context of the kingdom, this means every situation, every opportunity, every challenge we face must first be understood in light of God’s role as the Beginning.

When you start anything in life—a business, a relationship, a ministry—it's vital to acknowledge that it must begin with God. His guidance provides the foundation for your success. Just as the physical world began through His word, so too should our spiritual lives. When you align your steps with God’s timing and purpose, you lay a solid foundation that cannot be easily shaken.

In the kingdom, we are reminded that nothing is random. God has a plan and design for each part of His creation, and as citizens, we are called to follow His divine blueprint. Just as the earth had no form or purpose until God spoke, so our lives lack true meaning without His guidance and direction. God does not just create; He gives purpose, form, and meaning to every element of life.

The key question is: Is God at the center of your beginning? Whether it’s your day, your career, or your relationships, are you allowing Him to be the foundation? Recognizing God as the source of all things keeps us grounded in humility, and it allows us to partner with His creative nature. Through His Spirit, you can receive new ideas, vision, and purpose for your life.

PRAYER

"Father, as I begin my day, help me to always start with You. Remind me that every good thing starts with You at the center. I acknowledge You as my foundation and ask that You guide my thoughts, decisions, and actions. Where I’ve tried to build without You, I ask for Your forgiveness. Lead me to rebuild every part of my life upon Your word and Your purpose. Let my life be a reflection of Your creativity and love. In Jesus' name, Amen."

WORD TO REMEMBER: Foundation.

When we recognize God as the foundation, we build lives that are stable and grounded in His truth. Always start with God, and your life will have a firm foundation that can withstand any storm.
