Day 1 in Israel:

Friends and colleagues, today was day 1 of our trip...

We were planning on sponsoring a petting zoo for the orphans of Shlomit, a moshav that is in the corner of Israel bordering Egypt and Gaza. Because of your incredible generosity we blew our initial $200,000 target away and have raised $675,000!

We didn't sponsor a petting zoo for these orphans, we instead donated $125,000 to open a preschool (see them below as we lay the cornerstone) and also $50,000 for an orphan fund to take care of future needs!!!
