They are both very valuable skills much more valuable than most of the subjects taught. There are many reasons as to why. The teachers don't know how to, they are given a strict curriculum that must be covered. The knowledge has been lost and replaced with therapy, mainstream medicine, and evasive surgery. Now don't get me wrong everything has its place but the above have a small contribution in the grand scheme to you being healthy!
