The Davis System visits Chicago for the Democratic National Convention, rolls out a new partnership, honors Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley...
Celebrating Impact and Civic Engagement: Highlights from The Davis System
At The Davis System, we prioritize engaging with communities and leaders who champion change. One of our favorite annual events is the House on the Vineyard. This year's Legacy of Light Soirée was especially memorable, with our CEO, Anthony Davis Jr., presenting the Lux Award to Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley. It was a full-circle moment, celebrating her remarkable contributions alongside Morehouse College alumni and esteemed leaders.
Empowering Youth and Communities
On August 17, 2024, The Davis System hosted a youth civic engagement workshop at Hyde Park Youth Day, promoting community participation and inspiring the next generation of leaders. The day was filled with family-friendly activities, fostering community bonds and civic pride.
Democratic National Convention 2024: A First-Time Delegate Experience
Representing Massachusetts as a delegate at the Democratic National Convention, our CEO experienced the power of grassroots activism firsthand. Engaging with diverse voices and ideas underscored the importance of unity, collaboration, and civic engagement in shaping our nation’s future.
Launching Dynamic Campaigns for Change
The Davis System is excited to partner with My Body PAC in launching a grassroots organizing campaign across five swing states for the 2024 Election, aiming to mobilize voters for choice and social change.

Moving Forward Together
The Davis System was recently awarded our first grant from BECMA. As members, we get access to apply for a capital grant for support through their B.O.S.S Program. This is a grant to assist with increasing operational capacity. At BECMA, we advocate for and support economic opportunities for Black-led firms like yours. Through this grant and other initiatives, we are working to make Massachusetts more economically prosperous for all.
