David's Weekend Fun Tip

Its December 11th and yesterday was the first day of Hanukkah. To all my Jewish friends I say Happy Hanukkah!

This weekend brings some great family events. The first is a renaissance festival with a Christmas theme. It takes place off Callaghan Road at the Jackson Ranch this Sunday from 9:00 am-6:00 pm. There will be live music, children’s activities, a best mask contest and more! They will practice COVID safety measures at the event. The San Antonio Ballet Company is performing the Nutcracker in a safe atmosphere with no intermission. They will practice social distancing with their seating at The Tobin Center. Lastly, if you want to take a road trip head to Austin for something I have experienced…driving around the Formula One track! However, this time not at high speeds. In fact, you can drive the family car! They are having an event called Peppermint Parkway. The track will be decorated for Christmas. There will be rides for the kids, go cart racing and lots more!
