DAVID WEEKLEY HOMES ANNOUNCES KRISTA LONG AS DIVISION PRESIDENT IN CHARLOTTE

Charlotte, NC (November 1, 2022): David Weekley Homes, one of the largest privately held national home builders, is pleased to announce Krista Long as division president over the company’s Charlotte operations.

Long brings 30 years of home building expertise to her new role. Prior to joining David Weekley Homes in 2022, she worked as the vice president of sales and marketing at Mattamy Homes and CalAtlantic Homes, as well as the vice president of operations, division president, and vice president of sales and marketing at Beazer Homes.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the David Weekley Homes team to oversee the Charlotte division,” said Long. “David Weekley Homes really stands apart from its competition, and I look forward to continuing the company’s growth in the Charlotte area.”

Originally from New York, Long attended college at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business and a minor in communications. She is a past president of the Home Builders Association of Greater Charlotte and currently serves on the University of North Carolina at Charlotte Alumni Board of Directors and the Charlotte Zoning Board of Adjustment.
