The latest news from the Code Governance Committee overseeing the General Insurance Code of Practice is both alarming and encouraging. It is alarming that so many breaches keep happening, but we are encouraged that finally, the many breaches by the insurance industry, particularly when it comes to claims handling and dealing with complaints, are being brought to the attention of the appropriate bodies.
