Dave Goldberg, You Will be Missed

I am so sad to hear of the loss of Dave Goldberg and am heartbroken for Sheryl and their children. Everyone within the eBay and PayPal community will miss Dave greatly, and will keep their family in our thoughts and prayers.

Dave was a remarkable guy ... kind, humble, generous and incredibly talented. Every time I interacted with Dave I came away feeling better about life ... he simply had that kind of impact on the people around him. I feel very blessed to have known him.

Dave and Sheryl set an amazing example for so many people in Silicon Valley and around the world by simply being themselves…smart, hard-working leaders, loving partners to each other and dedicated parents to their children.

I am grateful for Sheryl's graciousness sharing her experiences with our women leaders at eBay and PayPal. And I’m comforted in the knowledge that Dave was a passionate supporter of everything Sheryl stands for. Recently, my wife Eileen and I had  the pleasure of joining Sheryl and Dave in their longtime commitment to fighting hunger here in Silicon Valley through Second Harvest Food Bank.

Our hearts are with the Sheryl and the Goldberg family during this difficult time.  Silicon Valley will be a less special without you, Dave. You will be missed.
