Date Settings SAC model preference:

1. The Date Settings section lets you fine-tune Date dimensions settings and enable the week granularity.
2. The week granularity allows you to refine date dimensions and expand the time hierarchies available.

For model with measures, you can enable the week granularity using the dedicated?Enable Week-Based Date Patterns?toggle.

You can then select:

1. Week pattern,
2. First day of the week, and
3. First week of the year.

?You can also decide whether your to display months as periods.

You can choose from two distinct week patterns and adapt your date dimension to your business case. With these patterns, data is stored data on weeks, and is then aggregated to months or quarters.

• 445/454/544: splits a period (a quarter, typically), into sets of four weeks, four weeks, and five weeks. Each set represents a month. This rounds up to 52 weeks, just like in a typical calendar year.

• 13x4: splits a year into 13 periods rather than 12 months, with each period being divided into sets of four weeks. This rounds up to 52 weeks, just like in a typical calendar year, with each period having the exact same number of weeks.
