DataEngBytes Sydney 2024: Know Before You Go

DataEngBytes Sydney 2024 is here. A day where our data engineering community will gather at the Sofitel, Sydney to share insights, engage in thought-provoking discussions and build our networks and connections.?

We wanted to share some important ‘Know Before You Go’ information that will help you make the most of the day.

• Conference location: Sofitel Wentworth
• Conference room locations: Plenary/Track 1: Sydney and Perth Rooms
• ????Track 2: Melbourne Room
• ????Track 3: Brisbane Room?
• Address:61-101 Phillip Street, Sydney NSW 2000
• Train: ?The Wynyard Train Station? 500 meters from Sofitel and the Martin Place Train Station - 300 meters
• Driving: If you arrive by car, program directly to Sofitel Sydney Wentworth is located on Phillip Street opposite the Chifley Tower
• Sofitel Wentworth offers a discounted rate of $65 per car per entry (day parking) or $70 per car per entry (overnight).

Upon arrival at the Sofitel,Sydney head up to Level 3 Foyer. There will be a check-in desk where you can pick up your personalized lanyard as well as your sponsor stamp card, which allows you to collect a stamp from each vendor booth you visit. You can submit your completed card in a raffle on the day for your chance to win amazing prizes!

To give you a brief overview of the day’s structure:

• 9.00am to 10.30am: All attendees will convene in the same main track from 9.00 am to 10.30am, offering a unified experience for everyone.?
• From 09.55am, after morning tea concludes, the conference splits into three distinct tracks starting. The three tracks run concurrently until afternoon tea at 3.10pm. We encourage you to explore the topics and speakers to select which track most aligns with your interests. You are welcome to move freely between the tracks throughout the day but ask that you minimize movement while the talks are in session.??

From 3.50pm to 5.30pm: After you’ve enjoyed your afternoon tea, we will all reconvene in the main track for the final sessions of the day.

Track 3 takes place on Level 3,Brisbane Room

Perth + Sydney + Melbourne rooms

The conference after party takes place from 5.45pm at Martinez Sydney Only a minute or so from the conference event space.?

Drinks and light canapes will be provided. Free entry to the after party is included with every ticket purchase.
