Datacomm Diangraha Launched Datacenter Federation to capture the local datacenter demands from Cloud Computing and Disaster Recovery applications

Market research predicts that by 2020, there will be 50 billion devices connected to the internet and associated cloud services. The increasing number of devices and users connected to the internet, and the corresponding increase in data traffic will mean that more data centers will be needed to provide support services through servers and storage applications. 

Today, the Datacomm Cloud Business arm of PT Datacomm Diangraha is proud to announce the launch of a new product - Datacomm Datacenter Federation (DDF). DDF represents a different concept from the typical data center - DDF will be offer distributed, scalable and resilient data storage solutions, offered in three dispersed locations: Jakarta, Bandung and Medan. 

With TIA 942 reference, all Datacomm Datacenters will be rated-3 and will have redundant components that together ensures 99.98% availability of services. DDF will be supported by standard Datacenter operation system ISO 20000, best practise information technology infrastructure library (ITIL) service management, ISO 27001 Information Security Management and ISO 9000 accredited quality management. 

Commenting on the new product, Sutedjo Tjahjadi, Datacomm Cloud Business Managing Director, commented: ‘DDF has added on features such as: high capacity connectivity to local internet exchange; Internet cloud exchange connectivity with private connection to cloud services such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure; as well as Clean Internet protection that will protect internet traffic from DDoS attack. Additionally, should the customer need professional cybersecurity services, Datacomm has a cybersecurity team on hand to help. 

In the future, Datacomm will expand datacenter locations across Indonesia and integrate another 10 to 15 new Datacenter. With the advent of DDF, Datacomm will be the point of contact and enforcer of accountability in reaching customer agreement service level agreement (SLA).
