A data standard for traceability systems

At COSA, we have been producing and appreciating pragmatic, standardized approaches for a long time. But our most current work may break new ground. With the German Government, GS1, ISO-DIN, and other partners we are working on the data standard for Interoperability of Digital Traceability Systems in Global Agriculture Supply Chains. We have to get on the same page together.

So, we applaud the growing list of powerful bodies such as the new International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), the 550-strong Taskforce for Nature Related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) who are developing high-level guidance (especially for the financial sector). This will most definitely affect agriculture investments and data needs. COSA is engaged to ensure that our complementary metrics - which apply to the ground-level realities - continue to be aligned and best-in-class.
