The Data Science Grandmaster Course

I have been hearing this complaint from almost all my students that whatever they are learning in the institutes they joined, that is not at all enough when they sit for interviews. They don't feel comfortable at all when they even think of participating in hackathons. And, they are still stuck in the questions of why, when, how, and where?

As a faculty of different institutes and colleges, for the past three years, I have noticed that the curriculum that they make is not at all sufficient. Apart from that, whatever they cover is time-limited. Sometimes, they even expect to finish three to four algorithms in one single day with a time span of 4 hrs. Obviously, if that strategy is adopted how can a student be expected to be comfortable even with a single algorithm.

Students hesitate to mention the algorithms that they know to put on their resumes, because of the fear about what the interviewers may ask related to it. This happens because of touch and move philosophy adopted.

As I have been listening to all these problems, and my students requesting me to start my own course, finally I decided to take a step. I tried to create a course which covers end-to-end. Starting from the beginners level and going in depth like a  PhD. My aim from this course is that the student must know in-depth knowledge of each and every concept, just like a Masters Student, be able to write research papers, similar to PhD scholars, and be ready to code and think of an architectural solutions on the go, which is a must in corporate life. Because, according to me, that's what makes you a real Data Scientist (not the course you attend or designations they give).

Therefore, today I am launching my own course on Data Science - The Data Science Grandmaster Course. It contains the Masters Level curriculum, with the intention to give PhD level expertise and Corporate level exposure. It will be a minimum of 6 months programme, but it depends on the performance. If one module is not finished in time, no one can move to the second module. So, it is all or none. 

Once the course finishes, each student will have:

• A research paper published on his/her name
• A project finished of a level that can be patented
• In depth subject knowledge similar to Masters
• Domain expertise similar to a PhD
• A GitHub repository of each person having unique projects
• Personal promotion of each and every candidate by Black Feathers
• Live internship provided by Black Feathers

All the above a a very nominal price (Explore the website to know more). It is a very comprehensive syllabus consisting of almost all the things that industry requires in the current scenario. A pass-out will not only be call as a Grandmaster of Data Science, but would feel so as well.

Overall, the course consists of following domains:

2. Mathematical Foundations - (Linear Algebra, Calculus, Statistics)
3. Machine Intelligence (Statistical Learning, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Forecasting, Advanced Architectures)
4. Data Engineering (Big Data, Feature Engineering, Real Time Data Analysis)
5. Research Domain - (NLP, Computer Vision, Cloud Architecture)

But, everyone won't be able to register for this course. Before registration, a participant needs to give a small exam. If he/she qualifies then only the registration can be made.
