Autodesk produces software for computer aided design in construction, production and graphics and entertainment. They recently started launching their products on Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) model, where user simply login into portals where they can design and develop instead of having to install software on their own systems. This model help Autodesk tap into a rich variety of data.

With SAAS Autodesk is able to track how customer are using their products, which features are in high demand and which ones can be scaled down. This helped build a mentality of constantly evolving the product they have built since they get feedback every day rather that shipping the product and then waiting for 3-4 months before customers give feedback.
