Police in Washington State say they have made an arrest in connection to the murders of a Victoria-area couple more than 30 years ago. They stated the suspect's DNA collected at the scene was used to identify suspects’ ancestors, which led them to him. The technology behind this turnaround – Genetic Genealogy, combines data analytics with genealogy research to find ‘similar DNA’ and extrapolate the identify (recognizable features) of a victim/suspect.
