Machine Learning - Dependent Variable

Dependent Variable can be called as Target Variable.

Target Variable can also be called as Y-Axis in normal term.

Y-Axis is the layer of data which we going to predict or find or produce as the output based on the given X-Axis.

Now Point for the Day:

Above mentioned dependent variable can be any of the following.

  1. Continuous Data
  2. Count Data
  3. Categorical Data


Note: X-Axis can be Single Variable or Multiple Variable.
