Data: An Important Customer Service Element

Data is such an overused word these days that organizations are looking for it everywhere but are oblivious to its presence under their noses at the same time. This is contradictory, ain’t it?
Well, the focus of this piece is to inform on just this and much more which will enable business owners, leaders, managers, and entrepreneurs alike to not search for data outside when it is available with them all the time, i.e., data is available in abundance with firms always just that it is not explicitly structured and/or presented or labeled as data for decision making. Now, what is all this? Isn’t this customer data? I agree that some or a little more of this may not be structured or put in the form of tables and rows and columns for easy analysis. But this is where the Data-mature firms ace the business game as against firms which still are thinking about setting foot on the pitch per se!
This entire information (as cited above) individually as well as aggregated can be a game changer in terms of decoding patterns, insights, trends, customer preferences, and so on. And, this is where firms may come up with some really innovative product ideas which will help them accelerate revenue maximization, cost minimization and/or incremental profitability over the medium term to long terms.?
