New Look, Same Us
Well, well. You may have noticed, the website has had a little glow up over the New Year break. Looking fresh and up to date with all 2023 exhibitors and much more. Most noticeably, the website is now in English. As?Data Centre World Frankfurt?opens its doors to more and more visitors & exhibitors from across Europe, we took advice from some of our senior sponsors and ran a poll via our socials (the poll ran in both English and German, at separate times).
The result – even from the German survey – was over a 60% preference for English.
Ultimately, the feedback from exhibitors and visitors leads our direction. The consensus favours an international communication.
So what does that mean for you we hear you ask? Going forward you'll (mostly) be hearing from us in English. This will allow you, our exhibitors, and partners to engage with a more international audience and stay up to date with the latest updates in the data centre market beyond the DACH region.
Now it's time to?look forward to a fantastic Europe wide show this May. But a quick note to our core German audience; wir vergessen euch nicht. Das Motto der Messe ist ja?#nurmiteuch.

Meet the team at Kickstart Amsterdam in February 2023
We can’t wait to get out on the road again and meet partners, exhibitors, end users and conference contributors at the annual Netherlands Kickstart Conference.
We’ll be there with our stand, some goodies and promoting our own Holland House, one of the main features for?Data Centre World Frankfurt?2023.?
Will you be there too? Come by and see us!
Das Labyrinth
Despite the website change to English, we love keeping some of our favourite German names and phrases. Don't worry -?plenty will still be included within the show. Starting with ‘Das Labyrinth’… which is a new feature that’ll see visitors walking through hidden tunnels of 'today'?and see a gallery of experimental, prototype and innovative products… and you’ll leave?Das Labyrinth?having seen 'tomorrow'.
This feature, plus others, are all nearly ready for the event in May 2023.??
Conference Programme 2023
Help us shape the 2023 conference programme with your suggestions today. We are still putting the finishing touches to our programme – a couple of rockstar headline speakers are lined up. Speaking opportunities vary: solo presentations, fireside chats and panel discussions covering all the important topics in the data centre industry today. Previous talks explored both the business-led conversations on energy efficiency, cost management, design & build physical security and what the future of tech looks like. For 2023, we're open to your ideas! Speaking opportunities are a mix of invitation only and ‘paid for’ sponsored presentations.?We are encouraging all sessions to be as bold, daring and thought-provoking as you wish. Last year’s audience survey has clearly stated that dynamic presentations were the most popular. The programme will still be a mix of English and German.
Microgrids for Data Centres - from Stabilisation to Inertia to Clean Generation
The evolution of microgrids and data centre operations present an opportunity to build sustainable off grid power systems that encompass clean power generation, stabilisation and protection. But just as there is no single data centre design there will be no one microgrid type for every data centre environment.
Microgrid development for data centre applications is about selecting the best and most adaptable components tailored to the demands and needs of particular facilities.
