The Data Behind Consumer Financial Attitudes

Welcome to the ReMX!?

In 2025, consumers want and demand more from the financial institutions and fintechs they trust to help them manage their money. More personalized. More intuitive. More connected. More streamlined.?

In this edition of the ReMX, we highlight key stats on how consumers think about artificial intelligence, financial wellness, and money management from our latest consumer research report:

Financial wellness is for everyone, yet everyone defines it differently. Learn more about how generations and genders view financial wellness.

Financial wellness means different things to different people

59% of consumers say they trust AI to help deliver proactive reminders to pay bills, save money, etc., but only 10% of respondents actually use AI for this. Read about the disparity between AI trust and adoption.

75% of consumers are optimistic about achieving their top financial goal for 2025. And, more than one-third say their financial situation is better than it was 6 months ago. Check out our blog about consumer optimism and 2025 financial goals.

24% of consumers use a spreadsheet or other manual processes to track their finances — while nearly 1 in 4 consumers actively avoid their finances altogether. While these findings seem to be a step backwards, understanding consumer behavior is the first step to empowering them. Learn about how to help consumers better manage their money.
