Data Analytics Summer 24' Intern

This summer, I had the privilege of interning as a Data Analytics Intern at Fujitsu’s North American headquarters in Richardson, TX. The experience was both challenging and rewarding, providing me with hands-on exposure to various projects that enhanced my technical skills and professional growth.

During my internship, I worked on several key projects, including a Data Analysis initiative, a SharePoint Re-Construction project, and an Automation Upgrade effort. These projects collectively provided a comprehensive learning experience in data management, process automation, and system optimization.

In my projects, I utilized Excel and PowerBI to analyze and visualize large datasets. This experience taught me how to clean, organize, and interpret data, uncovering valuable insights that informed business decisions. I developed a keen eye for detail and learned the importance of accuracy in data representation. Furthermore, I collaborated with a team to redesign the SharePoint site, ensuring that it was user-friendly and met the needs of various departments. This project honed my skills in web development and user experience design, as I learned to manage content and implement features that enhance user engagement.

Throughout these projects, I was fortunate to work alongside experienced professionals who provided invaluable guidance and mentorship. One of the most memorable experiences was meeting an alum from UTD who had transitioned from school into the technical field at Fujitsu relating to my aspirations. His insights on career development and the importance of continuous learning were particularly inspiring.

The internship also emphasized the importance of adaptability and staying current with technological advancements. I learned that in the rapidly evolving tech industry, continuous learning is essential to remain relevant and effective.

Overall, my internship at Fujitsu has been a pivotal experience in my career journey. It has equipped me with a solid foundation in data analytics, automation, and project management, while also enhancing my problem-solving and teamwork skills. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and learn from a dedicated professional team.
