Problem Statement
In the fiercely competitive and fast-paced e-commerce industry, maintaining efficient delivery processes is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness. An e-commerce company recently implemented an innovative app to streamline its delivery operations from warehouses to stores. This app allows drivers to scan labels instead of manually entering them and records various metrics, such as arrival and departure times.
However, the company struggles to effectively leverage the collected data. Management requires a comprehensive and intuitive solution to visualize and analyse this data to identify performance bottlenecks, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and make informed decisions to improve delivery efficiency.
The objective is to analyse the data extracted from the app and develop a Power BI dashboard that provides actionable insights for management. This dashboard will be crucial in visualizing performance metrics, understanding trends, and guiding the next phase of the company’s transformation, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Project Objectives
The primary objective of this Power BI project was to produce a comprehensive report that reviews the app's effectiveness and identifies areas for improvement. Specifically, the management was interested in the following aspects:
