- Data Analysis:Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.Develop and implement data analysis plans to answer specific business questions.Create data visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
- Data Cleaning and Preparation:Clean and prepare data for analysis, including handling missing values and outliers.Ensure data quality and consistency.
- Statistical Modeling:Develop and apply statistical models to predict future trends and outcomes.Evaluate model performance and make adjustments as needed.
- Reporting and Communication:Prepare reports and presentations to communicate data analysis findings to stakeholders.Effectively communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
- Collaboration:Collaborate with other data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Education:Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation languages.Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Familiarity with statistical modeling techniques (e.g., regression, classification).Programming experience in Python or R is a plus.
- Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and accuracy.
