I recently had the chance to have a dinner meeting with the VP of one of the world's largest ground service providers.

During our meeting we discussed the merits of utilizing an electronic system for into-plane fueling and how Varec's mobile computing technology validates data entry and reduces errors, which in turn speeds up the fuel accounting process.

He acknowledged that fact that Varec's IntoPlane product replacing paper fuel tickets and back office manual data results in a tighter control of workflow during aircraft fueling transactions.

The time the linesman received the dispatch notice, how long he took to get to the assigned gate, how long the refueling process took, at what time he completed the transaction, what time the linesman left the gate.
