Data Is in the Air. We’re hiring in {AMS}
We've been up to some seriously cool stuff this February -?
Our "Data for Breakfast" event series returned, hitting over 100 cities bringing customers and prospects together to discuss what’s new in the Data Cloud. Christian Kleinerman, SVP of Product, and our CFO, Mike Scarpelli, made a special appearance in Seoul, Korea. Check it out!?
But that's not all - we launched our first Snowflake-on-Snowflake application built using Streamlit, called “SnowComp.” Working at a trailblazing data company while operating in the Excel “stone ages” drove Julie Xiao, Sr. Compensation Business Partner, to launch SnowComp–an automated, internal tool that provides managers with real-time pay data wrapped in a user-friendly bow. Learn more about the project here.?
Plus, we've got a brand new Cognitive Services team in Warsaw, working on cutting-edge research based on deep learning methodologies to process documents and images similar to the way the human mind does. Learn more about the team and explore their scientific publications here.
And in San Mateo, Snowflakes packed kits for the nonprofit, Techbridge Girls. This organization provides underserved girls with hands-on experiences in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields, and we're proud to support their mission. Each pack included Snowflake swag and a note of encouragement from the volunteers.?
So if you're looking for a company that's making waves and doing good, come join the Snowflake family! We'd love to have you on board.
