Darryl Cloud and I are at ConSeal’s WOC booth C7674 (or S11707)
Darryl and I met at the Wisconsin Precast Concrete Assn. winter meeting in January 1992 at the Holiday Inn West, in Middleton. This was my first Wisconsin winter and I was stunned by the cold temperatures on the last day. Oh my! -23 degrees Fahrenheit which is 23 degrees below zero! Of the 40 cars in our group, only three cars started. Those three cars and drivers helped another 30 cars get started. My 1991 Pontiac 6000 started, but my wife’s 1989 Buick Century would not. One WPCA member with an old F-250 pick-up was determined to get started and head home to Eau Claire. His ingenious plan was to buy an aluminum turkey roaster pan, fill it with charcoal, lite it, let it become embers, cover it with aluminum foil, and shove it under his oil pan! I said a prayer that his truck did not catch fire! Wow! It worked and he was on his way!
The next day I returned with a new set of jumper cables to get my 1989 Buick started, but that was not sufficient. Near me was a CJ Jeep with being warmed by hot charcoals in a turkey roasting pan. After his Jeep started he asked me if I wanted to use his hot coals. My answer was, “You betcha!”

Protect cement paste above sewer flow. Consider ConBlock MIC to inhibit microbial corrosion of concrete.
