Darren Darling, The DPF Doctor gives his honest opinion about the JLM Diesel Intake Extreme Clean Toolkit Pro!

In this interview I ask Darren Darling (The DPF Doctor) his honest opinion about the JLM Diesel Intake Extreme Clean Toolkit Pro. Darren, please explain me why you asked JLM to create this product and what are your thoughts about it as an active user. Darren answers: "18 months ago during a meeting with Gilbert Groot (CEO JLM Lubricants) and the JLM team I (Darren Darling) highlighted the need for a high quality diesel intake cleaning tool for the professional workshop. It had to be better than anything on the market so who better to discuss this with than JLM Lubricants!

The team researched this idea and a few months later a box arrived with a message from Gilbert: ‘Here you go, put it to the test and tell us what you think.’ So we lined up some real problem vehicles to put this exciting new product through its paces! The first vehicle we tested it on was a Seat Leon with severely sticking turbo vanes that were causing instant limp mode due to turbo over boost. The owner had tried a leading brand of turbo cleaner via the intake but the problem was still there… We data logged the car and sure enough we had a major issue! Two hours later and with the JLM Diesel Intake Extreme Clean Toolkit Pro there was no limp mode and normal boost logs. We were amazed at what we seen. We then tested a car with very high emissions and 3 more cars with turbo issues. We had a 100% success rate using this product as a problem solver.

We also thought it was a fair test to use a trouble free car and see what power could be restored using a dyno to measure the power output before and after the treatment. The car we used was a 2010 VW Golf 1.6 105BHP. We measured the power output at 97BHP before using the treatment and 104BHP after the treatment = +10% extra BHP! Yet again a great result!

This product has been a superb addition to our workshop. We have continued to see fantastic results in restoring emissions, engine performance and more.
