Dare to rise above the ordinary
You could just sit at home and do nothing. Or you could push your limits, create lasting memories, as you stand atop the highest points in Australia. And while doing that, support a cause for lasting impact.
Following on from my last article announcing The Peter Ferguson Fund for Refugee Families, I am pleased to now provide details of the Three Peaks Challenge in March 2025.?
Three Peaks is an exciting event that will see you climb the three highest peaks in Australia across three days in the majestic Snowy Mountains. The challenge of conquering Australia’s Three Highest Peaks is something that most people haven’t done and will be unforgettable as we reach the summits of Mount Kosciuszko (2,228m), Mount Townsend (2,209m), and Mount Twynam (2,195m) together.?
The hiking will be challenging but achievable, involving a mix of well-travelled and more remote trails that traverse the best parts of this stunning wilderness. The hike is professionally-supported by the great team at ChallengeWorks and has been put together by a great organising team in partnership with Pathway Club.?
The Peter Ferguson Fund for Refugee Families, administered by Pathway Club, aims to provide vital support to keep refugee families together as they relocate and apply their skills in the international workforce. Peter was a strong supporter of this cause - and also participated in Three Peaks walks in Australia and the United Kingdom.?
The goal of this fund is to raise A$600,000, which will support 5-10 refugee families each year, providing grants of up to A$20,000. The Three Peaks Challenge in March is the major fundraising event for the Peter Ferguson Fund for Refugee Families.?
Spaces are limited - this is not a mass participation event.?
