Dare to impact – a ‘’must’’ to succeed in a resilient transformation

In any time, transformation is a challenging topic. One key lever to succeed in transformation is to have courage, to ‘’ dare to impact’’.
I would start at the beginning. ?(To understand) what does it mean to have an impact?
The Romanian dictionary (DEX) gives us 3 definitions:
So having an impact means to be able to influence the course of the events and, automatically, the people, even if this is going to take them by surprise. Or, maybe, having an impact means to be able to take people by surprise, to amaze them.
The opposite of daring to have an impact is, in my opinion, the need to stay in your comfort zone, especially with all these events that have been happening around us for several years trapping us like a whirlwind.
The need for predictability, the need for knowledge, the need for control are explainable.
And yet: a Chinese proverb says that during a storm, some people use wood to barricade their windows, and others, to build windmills.
We live times when many paradigms are crumbling, and new models are clearly taking shape and power.
Uber, Revolut, AirBNB, here are some of the models that tear down the traditional giants, left without relevance.
The new models appeared because there were people who had the courage to dare to think differently.

The accelerated progress, in the history of mankind, came disruptively: instead of perfecting old models, by creating completely different models that break the patterns, responding to the real needs of the people, of the society.
We are living the fourth revolution: Industry 4.0. After the mechanization, after the introduction of the production line and automation, today we are talking about smart factories. About cars that are able to self-regulate.
So, what remains for the human to do in this era of digitization?
What else but to reinvent oneself?
But How exactly?
Here is a question to which each of us will find a different answer.
Because, right, this is the charm of Dare to impact: it doesn't come with a recipe.
So I'm going to close this topic not with a definition, as I started, but with a question:
Which is the idea, the project or the event that is worth leaving your mark on?
And who are the people deserving to be amazed by you?
