DAOFitLife # 18: Crush Your Fitness Goals in 2024
It's 2024. Have you stopped dating documents 2023 yet?
What about your fitness goals? Have you hit the gym hard for the last two weeks, only to start to lose the will to continue....did you eat "clean" and then really, really, want a cookie?
My approach is counterintuitive to a lot of long held beliefs about "fitness". I don't go to the gym if I am tired. If I want something sweet or salty, I may reach for a piece of fruit or veggies with hummus first, but I will also let myself have that cookie too. The second your diet or exercise routine starts to feel like another job, the faster you will quit. Because guess why? No one is PAYING YOU.
That's why fitness should NOT be a job - it should be something you should love because it helps you unplug from your REAL JOB and then go back and do it even better. That is what DAOFitLife is all about.
