Danish robotics technology conquers global market via Germany
Automation buyers from across Europe can meet the Danish robotics industry in Munich at the continent’s largest robotics trade fair Automatica on June 21 – 24. Here, eight Danish producers are collaborating with Odense Robotics to showcase an array of solutions to the manufacturing industry’s many challenges.
Danish robotic solutions are popular in Germany. At the same time, the country is a launch pad for global exports of Danish robotics technologies, because sales to German customers is regarded as a seal of high quality.
That is why eight Danish robot and automation companies are exhibiting as part of a Danish export promotion at Automatica trade fair in Munich, which expects to attract 45,000 visitors. The export promotion is arranged by Odense Robotics, Denmark’s national robotics cluster, in collaboration with Innovation Centre Denmark in Munich and supported by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.?
“Robotics and automation are among Denmark’s fastest growing export industries with a total exports surpassing EUR 1.5 billion — a figure expected to grow to close to EUR 2 billion by 2025. The reason why Danish robotic companies experience such strong exports is that they develop innovative solutions that customers simply can’t get from local suppliers,” says Mikkel Christoffersen, CEO, Odense Robotics.?
Denmark’s robotic companies also collaborate to a high degree — a key contributing factor to the industry’s innovative product development and global competitiveness, adds Christoffersen.
Robots with solutions to challenges
You can meet these Danish robotic companies at Odense Robotics’ stand at Automatica: Cobot Lift ApS, Enabled Robotics ApS, Smooth Robotics, Spin Robotics Aps, STRECON A/S, Technicon, Trendlog.io ApS and Fynbo Technology. They will exhibit many different solutions that tackle key challenges in Germany’s manufacturing industry today:
·?????A lack of skilled welders creates delivery problems, as well as increasing demand for a healthy and attractive work environment. Smooth Robotics can alleviate challenges with automation.
·?????In a society with both recruitment issues and a growing elderly population, there is the need for new ways to retain employees and prevent injuries related to heavy lifting. Cobot Lift has solutions that can tackle issues.

·?????Market demand for varied products and fast delivery creates a need for more flexible, adaptable robotic solutions. Fynbo Technology reduces downtime.
·?????Manual and monotonous screw tasks on assembly lines in Germany’s electronic and car industry present challenges for the work environment and are time consuming, which in turn makes scaling production difficult. Spin Robotics automates screw tasks and changes of parts. The company’s solutions also meets quality demands in the screw process by offering complete documentation that can be accessed live and as historical data.
·?????For the pharma, biotech and medico industry, maintaining the highest level of reliability, hygiene and safety while responding to market demands for fast scalability is a challenging balancing act. Technicon meets demands with their advanced automation solutions, which they deliver to global healthcare leaders such as Novo Nordisk, Radiometer and Christian Hansen.
·?????Many manufacturing companies need to automate internal logistics to stay competitive, but have many different, complex and changing tasks. Enabled Robotics meets the need for flexible and profitable logistic automation with its mobile cobot — a combination of a robot arm and a mobile robot.
·?????Digitalisation and data collection is a key prerequisite for creating an effective, profitable and sustainable production, for example by delivering insights into a production’s potential, reducing waste and driving down costs. Trendlog.io supports the German industry in implementing industry 4.0.
·?????Precision polishing of injection moulded parts is highly sought-after expertise in the manufacturing industry. Employees with the necessary knowledge and experience can ‘instruct’ robots to perform the task for them, enabling employees to have a more varied and less strenuous job. STRECON makes this possible via their solution.
Many Danish robotic solutions supporting human-robot collaboration involve cobots from the world’s first and largest cobot producer Universal Robots. The global leader has its headquarters in Denmark, where there is a thriving cobot ecosystem facilitated by the country’s national robotics cluster Odense Robotics.
Visitors to Automatica can explore the latest Danish collaborative robotic technologies at the Danish pavillion in hall B4 at stand 308 at Automatica from June 21-24. Visitors can also meet an additional seven Danish robotic exhibitors on their own stands: Audite Robotics, Capra Robotics, FundingBox Research, JVL, Kassow Robots, Meili Robots and Universal Robots. In addition, Odense City is hosting a matchmaking event Odense Investor Summit in Automatica’s Start-Up Arena. Visitors can explore 66,000 square metres of robots at Automatica, where 600-700 exhibitors will present their robotic solutions.

2 年Malene Grouleff any recommendation what to see (and don′t miss) on B4 / 308? My time on automtica is very limited this year so I′ll be glad if you have some tips from manufacturing side...
We look forward to showcasing our new software release SmoothTool 1 .5 0. at the expo! automatica is a perfect opportunity to show the world how easy it is for small and mid-size companies to start benefitting from welding automation with a cobot solution. A big thanks to Malene Grouleff, Odense Robotics, The Trade Council, and all our co-exhibitors for making this possible ??
