Enter Danielle:

"I was an HR Manager before getting into recruitment. I found that I most enjoyed the recruiting aspect of my role as a Manager. I took a break for a few years when I had my first son and pursued other interests. A few years ago, I moved from NJ to Charleston, and I decided I wanted to get back to work. This time I was more purposeful in my search, focusing only on recruiting roles. I found a job as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist with a life sciences agency recruitment firm. One day, I received a call from Shivani Desai about a TA position here with Novotech . I followed my gut and decided to see what Novotech had to offer. Next thing I know, I was interviewing for the role, and after the call with Felicity N. and Aoife McDonnell (Bergin) , I knew Novotech is where I wanted to be.

I’ve always felt that the best way to know and learn about an organization is through recruitment. I have the opportunity to build relationships throughout the entire organization and support my colleagues in the best way I know how, and that is by providing them with the best talent. Being in the agency was fun and high energy, but I was never able to continue those relationships with candidates or watch them progress in the company once they were placed."
