Dan’s legacy lies not only in the commercial success he achieved but also in the countless individuals he mentored and inspired. Through his eyes, Dan’s success was intertwined with the success of those around him. He encouraged, empowered, and trusted those he believed in. That belief in others impacted the lives of many.
?
Dan did not adhere to any corporate rules for success. Instead, he impressed with his expertise and won people over with his joy, kindness, and care. Dan never met a stranger. He was willing to meet people where they were in life and embrace them with a kind of care and compassion that was obvious and true.
?
He knew honesty and kindness were more important than facts, education, money, appearance, failures, success, or circumstance. He had an unyielding positive attitude toward everything in his life. Dan hoped kindness would be his lasting trademark, the gift he would leave to the world. The request he made to all who met him…..continue to be kind and the world will be a better place.

1 年I first met when when I was a trainee at NOL/APL and we crossed patch again when we were both at DHL. Despite being much more senior that me in both organisations, he would always stop to have a chat and wanted to learn how I was doing whenever we saw each other. He was humble, kind and sincere. RIP Dan and my condolences to his family.
