The Danger of Idolizing Symbols or People: Why It Can Ruin Your Life

The Danger of Idolizing Symbols or People: Why It Can Ruin Your Life

I used to love the Japanese mythology character Oni. I would use it as a battle cry to get my teams going and my strength moving. I thought it was so calm and idolized it like a superhero.

But now that I'm older, I realize how wrong this was. Worshiping people, companies, or symbols is never right. It's unhealthy for us to put our faith in something that isn't real or tangible. We should put our trust in natural and genuine things - like our faith and family.

Our faith guides us through life and helps us decide when we feel lost or confused. And our family will always be there for us no matter what - they will support us through thick and thin, even when we don't deserve it. They are the ones who will always pick us up when we fall, and they are the ones who will never give up on us, no matter how hard times may get.

These are the only two things worth worshiping: your faith and your family. Everything else is just a distraction from what matters in life - living with purpose and making meaningful connections with those around you. So forget about Oni - focus on what matters instead!

It's important to acknowledge and respect that everyone has a unique perspective. Some people may see Oni as a symbol of strength and power, and that's okay. We should always approach these things with an open mind and a willingness to learn from different perspectives: I know I do.
