We're not talking about flexible working AGAIN are we? ??
Unfortunately, yes.
The Government's employment law reforms mean flexible working requests are now a Day One right for employees. At the same time, more and more businesses are implementing "Return to Office" policies.
Just a quick Google search shows stories such as Starbucks tells corporate workers to return to office or risk being fired, Amazon tells staff to get back to office five days a week, Ericsson’s return-to-office policy is causing trouble, Santander cracks down on hybrid working as return to office trend grows, and many more.
We asked our network what their stance is on flexible working, and the result was resounding:
There's no hiding from the fact that the UK talent market wants flexible working, and those businesses which can offer it will be much better placed to hire than those who don't.
