Live Art at HK Harbourfront Carnival

Grateful for the incredible experience of live painting at the esteemed

HK Chamber Orchestra & The Holy Spirits HK Dance Floor Classic over the weekend! ??? Special thanks to the organizers for the kind invitation – it was truly an honor.

From the serene morning rehearsals to the grand carnival finale under the big top at HK Harbourfront, each brushstroke aimed to capture the symphony of rhythms created by The Holy Spirits DJs, by the magnetic DJ El Toro-Andrew Bull, Kulu and Suiki Their beats seamlessly blended with the elegance of a full philharmonic orchestra, resulting in a sensory masterpiece that left a lasting impression.

In my ongoing tour across Asia – from Dubai to Kuala Lumpur, Manila to Singapore, and now Hong Kong – I've had

the pleasure of doing my live paintings at various venues. This journey has been a celebration of cultural fusion, with each place offering a unique canvas for my art. The interactions and collaborations have been nothing short of incredible.

Reminiscent of the excitement during the challenging times of the pandemic, I proudly took on the role of the self-appointed official rave painter in the UK. While many revenues were locked down, the underground scene in London thrived with secret venues hosting musical raves througout. My art gallery, Our Wonderful Culture in Covent Garden, was one such venue. We ensured strict adherence to regulations, limiting each event to a selected "crew" under the 60-person limit. Each participant underwent PCR tests and QR trackers to ensure legal compliance, enabling us to capture the energy and spirit of the underground rave culture.

Throughout the lockdown, I ran my vibrant YouTube show, "Hercules Fisherman and Friends." This show wasn't just about art; it was a fundraising initiative for environmental groups, community farms, and food banks. Each episode featured musicians, artists, or fascinating individuals who played music, recited poems, or gave insightful talks while I painted them live.
