Daisies in Another Dimension

I really love this quote because it reminds me that when it comes to art, being a rebel is required!

To create art I have to let go of this world completely and listen to the world of energy. Nothing that is taught anywhere here will help me create soulful art.

 Today's picture (shown in an office above) is named "Amazing Daisies" because of the way it was created. I was truly amazed by the effect of laying a painted texture over my original photograph.

I sat back and realized that I had opened another door into my creative realm and discovered a new technique. Another dimension of colorful energy to be explored.

My art is designed to challenge perceptions and make you rethink reality. Ask yourself, "am I seeing something simple?" Or is there so much more there than I am aware of with only my eyes?
