Ever been with a company for over 10 years, recommending them to everyone you know?
Ever needed assistance from that company, expecting instant results, only to find they’ve become your biggest enemy?
Yeah, that happened to me recently. I looked at the reviews and thought, "I don’t remember them being this horrible!"
Now onto the next thing (still about the same topic): companies moving their customer support to WhatsApp. Why? You're taking a social media platform and using it for requests, removing the private aspect meant for conversations with friends and family. The other directions WhatsApp is moving to are their business, but why use it for customer support?
What makes it worse is that you send a message and then have to wait for a response from an instant messaging platform. No one had a problem with emails or ticketing systems to keep track of queries.
While writing this, I am currently dealing with said company (not going to call them out… yet!). I got connected to an agent, sent three messages, and BOOM! Your session was closed.
Hello, who closed this and is my issue sorted? No, it has not been sorted.
The worst part is there is no other way to contact them. Their website only has a “Contact Us” page pointing to their WhatsApp number. So where do we go after this?
If I can’t get assistance, even to cancel my service, what do I do? There's no point leaving a bad review on HelloPeter, as there are countless similar reviews.
Blocking their debit orders might be the next option.
So, back to the first part of the tangent: have you ever been there?
Word count: If you can’t get anywhere, where do you go?
