The #DailyWritingChallenge

In the UK we have been in lock-down for 6 weeks. 20 school days have been lots as 10 were due to be the Easter holidays.

As a way to support fellow educators navigate their emotions and articulate their experience I pledged to bring together a community of bloggers.

Each morning I share a values-based theme and anyone can reflect on it and write a blog, a poem, a short story - anything goes.

We then collate them in a thread and share them via the Values-based Education website:

To date, we have explored 35 themes, 63 authors have contributed and the collection has reached 386 blogs.

A simple idea to connect has caught the hearts and the minds of educators in the UK but it has also welcomed in bloggers from Canada, Morocco and Nigeria, among other places.

Thank you everyone who has contributed by writing, reading and sharing the #DailyWritingChallenge - it has become a daily habit, a morning ritual, for me and it has kept me emotionally grounded and spiritually anchored through these uncertain times as we navigate chaos and change.
