THE DAILY TACTIC - #07 - SCHEDULE YOUR INSTAGRAM POSTS

Each day (well most days) I post a short digital marketing tactic. Not a deep dive but a quick little morsel that I hope charges conversations in the comments and which people can learn from. These are not posted in any specific order, I'll just be coming up with them on the fly and posting them daily. I'm fairly confident some of them will be pretty crap, some will be good. It's all an experiment.
Do you schedule your posts, many purists will tell you not to, but I think there is a time and a place to do. Using a social media marketing tool to schedule your posts to go out at optimum times, can make scaling much easier. Buffer is my personal favourite tool for conventional social media scheduling, with Hootsuite being a reasonable alternative to try as well.
Instagram, unlike other social media platforms such as Facebook, does not allow users to schedule posts and the problem with the above tools is that posting to Instagram is still a manual process, and it's a real pain in the butt. Hootsuite, Buffer and Later include Instagram scheduling features, but they require an extra step such as responding to a push notification. That's a total drainer.
But I've discovered a tool called Schedugram and it's amazing. This service allows you to essentially schedule out all of your posts in bulk and have them automatically post at the date and time you would like. In addition to automatically posting for you, you can also have your caption ready with a first comment option so that you can add all of your necessary hashtags without cluttering up your initial caption. Bloody brilliant.
It has a really clean interface and is super easy to use. I highly recommend.
